GOLDA DIARIES

The film reveals for the first time the office diaries of Prime Minister Golda Meir from the Yom Kippur War, and presents rare documents describing the moves in the office and the small moments that built the major decisions of the war. The diaries leave no room for doubt - contrary to the image and myth of her failure, Golda Meir managed the war with a high hand, managed to convince the US to send military aid, which in fact saved Israel, and resulted in victory in the war - despite the heavy cost. The facts show that Golda did not fail and in fact the series of achievements of the war enabled peace with Egypt years later.​​
